Chemonics International Inc., Contractor for USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) ensures uninterrupted supplies of health commodities in support of USG-funded public health initiatives around the world. The project provides direct procurement and supply chain management support to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), and Population and Reproductive Health. In supporting USG-funded global health activities, PSM develops and manages a wide array of services for health commodity procurement and related systems strengthening technical assistance encompassing different elements of a comprehensive supply chain. The project seeks to recruit the following position:
Job Title: Office Procurement Short-Term Assistance
Period: Two (2) to Three (3) months
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Office Procurement Short-Term Assistance, will work with the Procurement Unit to strengthen and execute filing activities; ensuring compliance with USG regulations and Chemonics policies.
- Scan each process of a Procurement file
- Post soft copies online
- Photocopying of procurement files
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor/or his designate
- Diploma in purchasing and supply (or equivalent)
- 1-year experience in the USG environment
- Familiarity with the FAR, AIDAR, and other relevant acquisition regulations
- Proficiency with MS word, Excel and SharePoint
- Highly Proficient in English language
Location of Assignment
The location of assignment is Lusaka, Zambia.
Office Procurement STA will report directly to the Office Procurement Specialist or his/her designee.
