Purpose:  Planning and execution of brand and channel strategies in order to increase customer retention, market share and volume.

(This is a joint venture between Falls Beverages Zambia and KWV South Africa. The succesfull person will be based in Lusaka but will be KWV dedicated). 


  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or business management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in marketing, sales or business development
  • At least 3 years experience in a FMCG environment
  • Experience in the Wine/Liqour industry will be an advantage
  • Understanding of the local (Zambia) environment and complexities
  • Ability to communicate in English on an advanced level (verbal and written)
  • Frequest business travel
  • Zambian resident and/or work permit

  • Sound planning and organizing skills with the ability to take control


  • Achieve sales targets through direct dealings/relationships with Key customers and support of in-market sales team
  • Support in-market sales team with selling tools
  • Manage all aspecs of trade promotions and activities
  • Plan and manage eventes and festivals
  • Planning and implementation of sales & marketing initiatives in accordance with country plan and budget
  • Monthly sales and marketing reporting
