Team Lead – ATM & POS Atlas Mara Zambia

Designation: Team Lead – ATM & POS

Reporting Line: Country Manager -Digital Channels

Business Unit: Information Technology

Location: Lusaka

Job Purpose

To provide support for ATMs and POS so that uptime is enhanced above the industry average

 

 

Key Outputs & Responsibilities

1. Effective, timely Application Support

  • Manage the provision of first level technical support to resolve ATMs and POS system issues, either by resolving the issues or escalating to vendor(s) so as to enhance the uptime above the industry average.
  • Ensure optimal availability of self-service channels including ATMs, POS, and DIGITAL channels to facilitate the achievement of retail banking volumes, revenue, and profit targets.
  • Perform configurations, installations and testing of ATMs and POS to ensure high quality ATM and POS service availability to customers.

2. Operational

  • Maintain awareness of vendor agreements and advise relevant stakeholders in the Bank of breaches of ATM, POS issue resolution and vendor performance to ensure quality delivery of services to internal and external users.
  • Assist the Business/Operations in offering high availability and quality ATM and POS service to clients by ensuring departmental adherence to all business frameworks.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with vendors on production and UAT issues to provide high-quality customer service.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders, to ensure quicker TAT on issue resolution.

4. Project Management

  • Support the PMO in executing business change requests and ensuring change requests are logged on time to ensure changes are executed in good time to business satisfaction.
  • Perform SITs and UATs to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
  • Lead/ participate in formal and ad hoc ATM, POS projects.

Education Requirements

  • Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 credits, English, and Mathematics inclusive.
  • Relevant IT/ And or Business Degree

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years’ ATMs, POS, NFS Mobile & IT experience
  • Knowledge of various ATM, POS & Card switching systems is an added
