Job purpose

Reporting to Production ManagerShift manager, the Supervisor plays a critical role in day to day operation to entire production line. This includes the control of manpower, machine- man power utilization, maintain hygiene the shop floor, quality of production, sanitization and bulk loading and unloading the materials.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and control of manpower as requirements of production planning.
  2. Supervise the manpower and utilization of manpower.
  3. Maintain the hygiene level of plant as per company policy.
  4. Control of quality of product include batch code, weight of product, hygiene of people who working inside the plant, wastage control, sweeping plan etc.
  5. Maintain clean safe equipment’s, work area.
  6. Manage all the inventory control of shop floor.
  7. Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
  8. Maintain the Food safety, personnel hygiene and PPE for all staff.
  9. Day to day recording the production data
  10. Day to day coordinate with production managershift manager to optimize machine utilization.
  11. Motivate to team work to increase efficiency of man and Machine.
  12. Sanitization of plant.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  1. 3+ year relevant experience as a supervisor in any FMCG company preferred quality background.
  2. Minimum qualification Grade 12, preferably Diploma in production managements, Quality and Safety , Diploma in Mechanical and any other related Engineering courses
  3. Knowledge of MS office.
  4. Good team working skills
  5. English Verbal and written communication skills
  6. Logical reasoning
  7. Numerical skills
  8. Able to cope under pressure and work towards deadlines
  9. IT literate with experience of using Microsoft office
  10. A flexible approach to working hours specifically in peak period
  11. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  12. Ability to work co-operatively with others and independently at times without supervision
