JOB LEVEL : Senior Manager

LOCATION : Lusaka, HQ

JOB PURPOSE:

This role will be responsible building and executing an Enterprise Client Account Business Plan (ECABP) that includes both transactional and strategic initiatives to grow Airtel’s presence and share in the Enterprise Space over a 1 to 3-year time horizon

REPORTING TO THE ENTERPRISE DIRECTOR- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL;

  1. Build and orchestrate sales pipeline activity by ensuring active nurturing of deals and movement of opportunities to close
  2. Manage a balanced pipeline representing all of the businesses being pursued
  3. Identify, nurture and close new solution opportunities that result in substantial growth in Airtel’s share, revenue and margin
  4. Represent the entire Airtel portfolio of Enterprise products and services
  5. Serve as internal client for all Enterprise Client fault related issues
  6. Manage all commercial proposal submission and follow-up for Enterprise clients
  7. Proactively engage executive sponsors to build a strategic relationship and favorably positions long- term business opportunities for Airtel
  8. Support in ensuring all receivables and Bills are up to date in terms of collections
  9. Proactively protect Airtel’s position and claim Airtel market leadership positions in strategic solution areas
  10. Meet/Exceed Month-on-Month, Quarterly and Annual revenue & margin quotas using margin management techniques
  11. Participate in Enterprise account investment decisions in pricing and resources

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors in Science and Technology related courses, Economics, Business Administration or any other Social Sciences courses.
  • Master’s in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification
  • MBA in Marketing or Postgraduate degree with specialization in Marketing will also be preferred
  • 6-10 years of work experience (3 years of relevant experience in Telecom Industry and 2-3 years should be in telecom enterprise products/ services sales/ marketing)
  • A minimum of 2 years in Management role.
  • Extensive knowledge of telecom enterprise business products and applicable markets
