purpose

To implement and execute a sales strategy focused on servicing Foreign Exchange needs of both existing and new business clients to meet set profitability, turnover and client base targets
experience and qualifications

Minimum Qualification – Relevant Finance Degree

Preferred Qualification – ACI Dealing Certificate or Post-graduate Qualification in Finance or Masters in Business Administration
Experience – 3 to 5 years foreign exchange, money market products and services, team leadership and sales experience
AdditionalKnowledge – Anunderstanding of macro-economics and current economic trends and their effectson the business
Knowledge of Risk Management,Operational Risk, Market Risk, Counterparty Risk and Credit Risk within abanking environment
An understanding of ExchangeControls, Forward foreign exchange, Foreign exchange operations and Spotforeign exchange
Stakeholder Management
Marketing techniques i.e. how towin the confidence of clients and prospects
An excellent working knowledge oftreasury products
Deposits/arbitrage
Interest rate dynamics andinterest rate products and other intermediate products
Market ethics according to the FXGlobal Code

Identify and utilise opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets
Manage the processes, structures, systems, and resources required to effectively service existing clients and acquire new clients
Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
Identify opportunities to expand customer base with potentially profitable customers
Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives
Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
Manages risks in own area of responsibility
Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
Creates solutions to meet customer demands Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards
Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
