The Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU) is a privately owned University, registered by the Ministry of Higher Education under the Higher Education Authority ACT No. 4 of 2013 to provide Higher Education in Medical Education. LAMU is regulated by the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ), General Nursing Council (GNC), Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA). Lusaka Apex Medical University is therefore looking for a mature, proactive, highly motivated and result oriented Zambian with high degree of credibility to fill the following positions:
FACULTY OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY
1. ANATOMY LECTURER
Minimum Qualification and experience
- Master of Science Degree in Human Anatomy from a registered/accredited University
- PhD in the field is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching/research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
2. PHYSIOLOGY
A. LECTURER
- Master of Science Degree in Human Physiology
- PhD in the field is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching/research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
B. TUTOR
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology from a registered/accredited University
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology from a registered/accredited University
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching/research experience of not less than 1 year in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
C. LAB TECHNICIAN
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences from a registered/accredited University
EXPERIENCE
- Work experience as a Biomedical Scientist/research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
3. BIOCHEMISTRY LECTURER
- Master of Science Degree in Medical Biochemistry from a registered/accredited University
- PhD in the field is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching/research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
4. PHARMACOLOGY – LECTURER
- Master of Science Degree in Pharmacology from a registered/accredited University
- PhD in the field is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching/research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
5. PATHOLOGY
A. LECTURER
- Master of Science Degree in Clinical Pathology a from a registered/accredited University
- PhD in the field is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching/research experience of not less than 2 years in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
B. TUTOR
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pathology from a registered/accredited University
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology from a from a registered/accredited University
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching/research experience of not less than 1 year in a reputable institution.
- Competent in English communication both spoken and written.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
