Incorporated in 2019, as part of its expansion strategy PHI is seeking to differentiate itself as a firm of choice in the Zambian Landscape in the Provision of Design, Building, Construction & Project Management, and related Consultancy Services.

We are looking to recruit an Interiors Site Supervisor to join our growing team for an exciting Project in Lusaka from January, 2022. (I) General Job Purpose

Reporting to the Principal Interior Designer, the Interiors Site Supervisor shall be responsible for coordinating and supervising various interior subcontractors and artisans on site to ensure adherence to our three distinctives i.e., Timely delivery, Supreme Quality Conformance and Cost Consciousness.

(II) Key Responsibilities & Result Areas

• Assist the Principal Interior Designer make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials to use.
• Must be able to manage the work of turning drawings & ideas into a visually pleasing reality
• Ability to give, motivate and supervise technical instructions to artisans
• Ability to interpret interior drawings and specifications to various working crews
• Client management
• Participates and attends progress meetings when called upon
• Ability to work with MS Suite of Programs (Excel, Word etc.) to produce various reports – progress, incident etc. as directed by The Principal Interior Designer- they should have personal laptop
• Ability to schedule various works on site to meet critical milestones and ensure timely completion of work
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Principal Interior Designer.

(III) Skills and Qualifications

The candidate should possess the following MINIMUM skills and qualifications;

• Diploma in Interior Design or related qualification from a reputable Institution.
• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with credits or better in English and Mathematics.
• Must have a dynamic pro-active approach with excellent communication skills
• Candidate must possess highest levels of integrity, Accountability and Honesty
• 2 years’ construction/ interiors site experience
• At least 3 traceable references.
• Valid Manual driver’s license is added advantage
• Fluent in English and possessing good mathematical skills.
