SMECH Engineering Services Zambia Limited, a company subcontracted by NAVA Energy Zambia Limited – C/O Maamba Collieries Limited, In the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of a 2*150MW Thermal Power Plant located in Maamba, Zambia is looking for suitable candidates to recruit for the following positions:
1. Turbine Field Operation & Maintenance x4
Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years’ field O&M experience in Steam Turbines of Thermal Power plants
2. Boiler Field Operation & Maintenance x4
Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years’ field O&M experience in Boilers of Thermal Power Plants
3. Balance Of plant (BOP) Operator x2
Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years’ field O&M experience in Compressors, Pumps, ESP and Ash Handling Plant of related Industry
4. Chemist x2
Qualifications: Diploma/ BSc in Chemistry
Experience: 1-3 years in O&M, Sampling & Chemical analysis of water, coal & ash in related industry
5. CHP/ LHP PLC Operator x2
Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1 -3 years’ Operational experience in PLC/ Control room of the Coal/Lime/any Material Handling Plant of related Industry
6. CHP/ LHP PLC Operator x2
Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1 -3 years’ Operational experience in PLC/ Control room of the Coal/Lime/any Material Handling Plant of related Industry
7. CHP Field Operation & Maintenance x6
Qualifications Craft/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years’ field O&M experience in Coal/Lime/any Material Handling Plant of related Industry.
8. Electrical Operation & Maintenance x4
Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years O&M experience in Electrical Switchgear/ switch yard/Transmission lines of related Industry
9. Pump House Operator x2
Qualifications: Diploma/ Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years O&M experience in pumping & water system of related industry
10. Electrical Maintenance Technician x2
Qualifications: Craft/ Diploma in electrical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years’ maintenance experience in Electrical equipment of related industry
11. Mechanical Maintenance Technician x2
Qualifications: Craft/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 years’ maintenance experience in Mechanical equipment of industry
12. Instrumentation (C&I) maintenance Technician x2
Qualifications: Craft Certificate/ Diploma in Instrumentation
Experience:1-3 years’ maintenance experience in Instrumentation of related industry.
13. HR Assistant
Qualifications: Diploma in Human Resource; Member of the ZIHRM
Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in HR activity in related industry
