Job Summary: Preparing meals according to menu specifications

Key Duties and tasks

  • Food preparation, portioning, cooking, plating/packaging/food presentation
  • Track, record, and maintain inventory stock including foods, and kitchen supplies
  • Employing food safety practices & requirements according to company policy and ensures all kitchen staff members do the same
  • Kitchen maintenance & cleaning or any other relevant duties pertaining to kitchen work
  • Create new recipes and design overall menu, including specials each week

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Certificate/Diploma in food production or equivalent
  • Experience cooking multiple local and some international cuisines,
  • Ability to follow strict recipes, works efficiently, communications well, organizational skills, has a team mentality and leadership skills,
  • Able to work without supervision, is diligent, hardworking and is able to work in a high-volume turnover of food preparation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of culinary practices and Techniques
  • Must Speak fluent English
