POSITION TITLE: Dispatch Supervisor

REPORTING TO: Regional sales Coordinator and Marketing Manager

LOCATION: Lusaka, Zambia

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: Diploma in Business Administration

ROLE PURPOSE

This is a critical role to

1.    Responsible for dispatch of finished goods to the end users

2.    Coordinating Logistical processes.

3.    Preparing relevant documentation

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
Maintaining suitable inventory levels.
Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.

Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
Coordinating and maintaining transportation and equipment.
Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
Ensure proper signage and labelling of stock in the warehouse
Conduct periodic stock-take – daily, weekly and monthly.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS

Experience

• 5 years’ experience in Warehouse supervision and sales
• Ability to Speak and write English
