Maternity Cover Teacher – Reception Class Sentinel Kalumbila School

Educore Services is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic Reception teacher.

Sentinel Kalumbila is a high-quality private school nestled in Kalumbila Town, in North-Western Province of Zambia. The school offers a merge of the Cambridge Curriculum and the Zambian National Curriculum up to year 7. A vibrant and balanced co-curricular programme encompassing sport, music, art, drama and many other activities to underpin a culture of creativity, innovation and excellence, and provide opportunities for service to others, self-reliance and leadership.

The appointee will report to the Head of School and directly contribute to all areas of Reception teaching at Sentinel Kalumbila School as well as add to the extra-curricular curriculum in the school.

Main Purpose of the Job

To provide the students with an excellent educational experience in the reception class in accordance with the school’s Early Years curriculum. To work in conjunction with the teachers and contribute to the life of the school.

Qualifications and other Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Minimum 5 O’ levels including Mathematics and English
• TCZ registration
• TCZ practicing Licence
• Police clearance
• Minimum 2 years work experience in Early Years
• Familiar with the Cambridge curriculum
• Must have the skills of teaching using the learning through play method
