BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATION AND IDEATION:

Support the identification or discovery of new opportunities for innovation from the executive vision or corporate strategy, hub program strategy, hub brainstorming sessions, customer insights, employee inputs, industry and market trends, competition and other external players in the innovation ecosystem, Support the development of ideas through the crowdsourcing ideation process through online web portal, email and other ideation tools, Facilitate innovation workshops, meetings and / or town halls that help stakeholders identify opportunities for innovation,

BUSINESS IDEA DEVELOPMENT: Support the idea maturation process with hub Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), other communities, partners, or research and development (R&D). Develop Business Cases for initiating innovation, projects or tasks, Elicit and / or craft requirements to support the innovation product, service, solution or process. Support the development of Use Cases or elicit exiting ones,

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY EVALUATION: Support the business viability assessment of which products, services and solutions give the best chance of success in the market, yielding Go or No-Go decision with the business idea,

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY: Challenge the existing status quo and drive the review of the Zamtel’s business processes across the entire organization, in order to deliver better, efficient and smarter ways of doing things. Support the business process reengineering and automation across the Zamtel wide organization. Deliver operational efficiency across the Zamtel by supporting the business in the implementation of the products, services and solutions, in the most cost-effective manner possible while still maintaining quality,PEOPLE: Bring together Zamtel employees in submitting ideas for innovation by managing with the online ideation management tools, and / or facilitating workshops, meetings, townhalls, that help stakeholders identify opportunities for innovation

Description:    Zamtel is looking for a Business Analyst to carry out business analysis to support the innovation process from business identification, ideation, business idea development, idea evaluation, and business viability assessment. The candidate should challenge the existing status quo and optimize the Zamtel’ s business processes across the entire organization, in order to deliver better, efficient and smarter ways of doing things, through process reengineering and automation and the delivery of operational efficiency across the business.
