Yalelo is seeking a hands-on, organized, and meticulous Administrative Assistant with experience in an administrator role with a cooperate background. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and overseeing the canteen & drivers.

Location: The role will be primarily based in Siavonga

The Right Fit candidate:

  • Prepares the monthly/quarterly budget for canteen activities.
  • Authorizes purchases/ordering of necessary Canteen products and produce to deliver a menu in line with the Production Nutrition Policy.
  • Plans, organises, and monitors the day-to-day operations of the canteen,
    including the rostering of employees, daily record-keeping, opening and closing the canteen,  food preparation, and cooking for service.
  • Coordinates with the quality team to ensure quality standards are maintained at the Canteen.
  • Provides leadership to canteen employees to ensure exacting standards of hygiene are maintained in the Canteen area.
  • Manages records of personnel, expenditures as well as government rules and driving regulations.
  • Coordinates on a regular basis the transportation of staff and goods to the production site

The Administrative Assistant Must Have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or another related qualification required
  • Excellent Communication skills (Written & Spoken English)
  • High levels of responsibility and accountability
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
