PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Duties:
The main duties of the successful candidate will include:
- Inspect Customer buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation
- Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
- Prepare Service costs estimate and Prepare quotations for Customers.
- Use baits and set traps to remove, control, or eliminate pests
- Apply pesticides in and around buildings and other structures
- Design and carry out pest management plans
- Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications
- Must have a Grade 12 Certificate (including Mathematics and English)
- Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Pest Control related or any relevant course
- At least 2 years of proven experience in pest control operations
- Must have Mount Makuru – Certification for Pest Control
- Driving license will be an advantage Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be highly flexible and cordial
- Must have proficient computer knowledge
- Must have good accounting knowledge
- Must be highly organized and neat
- Demonstrate knowledge of the job and initiative
