Horticultural Production Supervisor Rephidim Institute

Rephidim Institute is involved in various operations covering Education, Farming and Real Estate in Zambia.  The Head Office is in Lusaka but farming activities are spread up to Chitambo in Serenje.  The Institute has been operating since 1991.

An opportunity has arisen to grow quality Vegetables and other Horticultural products for the local market and export.  This has created a need to employ a highly skilled Middle Management Staff to supervise production.

The Operations

Area of growing approximately 10.0ha

Total area for the farm 1000.0ha

Other crops to be grown rain fed crops i.e. maize and soya beans

Other operation    –         Livestock Production

The Person

• Must be young and dynamic (between 30 – 45 years)
• Must have trained in agriculture from reputable institutions preferably Diploma Level.
• Must be result oriented and self-driven.
• Married
• Disciplined and sober.
• Manage a labour force of about 50 workers

This is a new project located in the deep rural.  So the person must be ready to face rural life.
