Our Client in the Banking sector seeks a Staff Training & Development Officer whose main responsibility is being a Trainer, with strong Learning and Development experience. Head the Learning and Development unit but reporting into HR Manager.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reporting To: Human Resources Manager
Interacts With: Management and Employees

JOB DESCRIPTION

Identify training needs within the Bank through intense consultation with Heads of Departments
Design and deliver trainings on a range of digital platforms
Follow up on completion and success rates and report to the Management on a monthly basis
Manage the digital employee onboarding process on our employee engagement platform (Beekeeper)
Keep digital employee data up to date on our various digital platforms (Microsoft Navision, MS Teams, Beekeeper)
Manage and report on the digital leave management process on the MS Navision platform
Monitor and review the progress of new joiner’s probationary period
Attending to other departmental requests (e.g. updating the performance analysis sheet for Micro credit).
Responding to various employee queries
Performing any other duties assigned to me (e.g. being a relief staff to a colleague or attending to any urgent work given to HR Manager).
Organize teambuilding events for staff
Coordinate HR projects (staff parties, performance related celebrations)
Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
Assist with Transport and Phone reimbursements for credit staff in the absence of the HR officer
Communicate promotions, wedding announcements, internal vacancies, public holidays and other HR related

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience: 3 years plus
Education Level: Degree
Qualifications: HR or Training Related
Software: SharePoint, Office 365, One Drive, MS Teams, HR MIS and digital employee onboarding. MS Office; Microsoft Navision
Knowledge Of: HR; Training; Digital platforms
Skills To: Quality, Quantity & Accuracy of Work; Communication, Learning and Knowledge Sharing
Ability To: Planning and Organising; Problem Solving & Decision Making
Other Requirements: Tech savvy with proven digital skills
