people win” and our Agency is looking for a dynamic and experienced mid weight Senior Art Director
with 3-7 years’ experience to join our team and be part of this audacious vision.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for bold creative ideas, art direction, design, conceptual development and
crafted storytelling across channels for recognisable, blue-chip brands. The ideal candidate will be able
to ideate and execute brave, innovative work. We’re looking for a motivated individual capable of
generating new ideas and then implementing them; someone who gets passionate about what
technology can do for creativity and what creativity can do for the world. We like hungry. We like
strategic. We like kind. We like crazy. We like brand builders. We like insightfulness. We like diversity of
thought. We like people who’re never satisfied with their previous work; People who remain obsessed
with continually building their portfolios. We’re looking for a strong Senior Art Director, ideally with
genuine digital, BTL, TTL and ATL experience.
Extra skills, like the ability to conceptualize and design, draw, illustrate, take photos, crack strategies,
edit, debate, be funny, multiple languages, other super powers, will aid your cause.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The idea. The sell. The execution. Be brilliant at all three. Inspire brilliance in all three from those you
work with. Your number one job is to work with your Copywriter to crack big, hairy, fresh ideas and then
sell them hard and execute them perfectly. You’ll be expected to function well in a team, and bring a
heap of vibe and a spirit of collaboration with you when you walk through the door every morning.
6 SPECIFIC THINGS YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
! Concepts: Not only will you have to bring brave, new and diverse thoughts to brainstorms and
reviews, but also you will have to be able to deliver strong integrated thinking and execution in
every channel. You will need to understand a brand’s overall strategy and develop work that
answers to this.
! Media Platforms: A thorough understanding of media platform formats and how to design art direct for/within them is essential.
! Execution: You will need to have mastered the visual arts and the various programs required
to execute great work across channels and platforms. At a bare minimum, you must be able to
use Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Knowledge of After Effects, Premier Pro, Google
Design and Snapchat Studio. You need a great eye, a love for design, typography,
photography, film and creative-tech, but mostly just a basic obsession with concept-led Art
Direction.
! Selling and Presenting: You should be able to confidently present internally and externally to
senior clients without the CD being there. You will need to be able to have meaningful
conversations with clients around the strategic direction of their brand and the brand’s tone of
voice and look & feel – and present creative off the back of strategy, while linking the two
seamlessly.
! People and Relationship Management: You should be able to form and hold close respected relationships across all departments and people need to genuinely enjoy working
with you. You may need to work with and get the best out of junior team members and be open
to culturally diverse ideas that don’t match your worldview.
A FEW THINGS YOU MUST HAVE IN ORDER TO APPLY:
A varied portfolio, which contains a mix of powerful, beautiful, real work that highlights both strong
conceptual ability as well as a mastery of the craft of Art Direction, hunger for the industry and an
interest to grow, an opinion on what the best work in the world is and why, lastly a proven track record in
reputable advertising agencies (at least 3 years)
