Operations Associate – Zambia Greenlight Planet Zambia

What you would be expected to do:

• Warehouse arrangement: Supervising cleanliness and Warehouse etiquette
• Inventory management: Keeping track of all inventories by ensuring we uphold best stock management practices like but not limited to,FIFO, conducting weekly cycle counts, monthly stock takes and stock reconciliations.
• Inbound Logistics: Receiving inward cargo into the warehouse as per the set SOPs (Sun King products and branded merchandise),Scanning and uploading all serials into the respective databases for all serialized products.
• Outbound logistics: Routing and scheduling of dispatches and holding the courier accountable for any misroute and confirmation of the quantities delivered as per the schedules. Ensuring all outbound physical and system transactions are done accurately and on time.
• Retail Outlets Auditing: Perform spot checks on all our retail outlets as per the set SOPs, compile and share an audit report.
• Reporting: Maintaining and updating all warehouse trackers, updating and sharing stock reports as per set timelines

You might be a strong candidate if you:

• Has a degree qualification preferably in Supply Chain Management/procurement or Logistics from a Premier institution
• Has 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Warehousing, and Distribution Operations
• Ability to work with distributors, 3PLs and all other stakeholders to ensure smooth distribution operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the relevant legislation pertaining to the region
• Is knowledgeable about import/export, transport routes, inventory management, warehousing and distribution networks
• Knowledge and working experience with a robust ERP and WMS
• Ability to work comfortably with and maintain large volumes of data in excel
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work remotely under minimal supervision
