Smartron is looking to hire Sales Representatives for a remote work position, within Zambia. The Sales Representative will focus on new account penetration, account growth and relationship development.

Who we are:

At Smartron, we help companies with vehicles save money on, labor costs and increase customer service. We provide vehicle tracking and other vehicle technology solutions that report live and historical vehicle locations as well as many more features that measure vehicle use, employee productivity and customer service.

Remuneration:

This opportunity includes is 100% Commission based. We are looking to fill more than one position; therefore, we would consider different candidates at various levels of industry experience. Therefore, the remuneration is commensurate with the successful candidate’s industry experience. You could end up earning a much higher commission than the starting rate posted here.

Responsibilities:

  • You have a background in selling GPS Tracking /, Fleet Management, so you know what you need to do to be successful
  • Generate new opportunities through research, calls and emails
  • Conduct product demos via online tools
  • Accurately record sales activity and provide sales activity reports on a weekly basis and maintain up to date client records.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience; either by selling GPS Tracking /, or first-hand knowledge of selling, software, SaaS solutions to companies.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role — Sales Executive, Account Executive, Sales Representative.
  • A top performer in previous companies you have worked at
  • Must have an ongoing interest in enhancing sales knowledge and can provide examples of knowledge attained from sales training and real-world experiences.
  • Excellent presentation, organization, verbal, and written communication are mandatory
  • Experience in conducting online product demos is mandatory
  • Comfortable prospecting for new business and reaching daily and weekly targets for dials/connects.
  • Have an enthusiastic, team approach to engaging prospects and clients to grow the business
  • A consultative selling style combining effective questioning techniques
  • Hard-working, persuasive, tenacious, and do not shy away from taking on responsibility
