Job brief
We are looking for a passionate Logistics & Operations Officer to plan and oversee Pacific Transport and Pacific Tracking services. The candidate must be a specialist in all things ‘logistics’, with vast experience in asset management, fleet management, warehousing and customs. The candidate will also be an excellent communicator and will have exposure in managing different marketing ventures, including supporting others to raise the transport and tracking brands of the organization.
This position is part time, the incumbent will be engaged on a need basis and shall be paid based on sales attributed to their efforts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics, Transport studies or related studies
- More than 4 years relevant work experience (a must)
- Experience in use of GPS software
- Knowledge of warehousing management and applicable tools and systems
- Proficiency in use of computer applications
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken)
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- Valid driver’s license. Minimum of 5 years driving experience
- Only open to Lusaka based candidates
