EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY. 

DRIVER/MOTORBIKE RIDER WANTED

We are looking for a responsible and customer-oriented driver/bike rider to join our delivery team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick up and deliver various packages from/to specified locations as per delivery instructions provided by the dispatch manager.
• Loading and offloading of delivery packages at warehouse and the designated delivery locations.
• Ensure all delivery packages/goods are secured adequately in order to avoid damages whilst in transit.
• Carefully plan travel routes to ensure that packages are delivered to recipients in a timely manner.
• Obtain customer signatures upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of the delivery.
• Ensure that delivery vehicles are clean and in road-worthy condition at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 12 school leaving certificate.
• Valid Driving Licenses – Class ‘C’ and Class ‘A’.
• Traceable references proving experience working as a Manual gear Driver and Motor bike rider.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and well-versed with Lusaka City road network.
• Able to use mobile navigation and messaging apps such as Google Maps and Whatsapp to locate roads/delivery locations and for easy communication.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Should have good verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills
• Good physical stamina.
• Honest, punctual, and able to work on weekends or public holidays when required.

Note: Police employment clearance document proving no past criminal record will be required once shortlisted.
