Infusion Energy Petroleum Limited seeks to recruit a suitably qualified individual for the position of;
Position: Junior Level Accountant
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Job purpose
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, he/she will play a critical role and will be accountable for all data entry and account reconciliations, reporting and filing monthly returns.
Key responsibilities
1. Responsible for posting and recording of all accounting records.
2. Post all purchases from supplier and maintain records
3. Bank Reconciliations
4. Filing monthly returns for PAYE, NAPSA, VAT and other statutory obligations
5. Ensuring correct statutory deductions from Payroll and timely remittances with Statutory Authorities.
6. Preparation of sales invoices, sending daily sales reports, preparation and submission of all weekly transactions.
7. Follow up extensively with debtors.
8. Preparing of payment vouchers for supplier
9. Preparation of landed cost for imported product
Key Qualifications & Requirements
1. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree / Advance Diploma in business and accounting / ZICA Technician
2. Microsoft Excel Proficiency
3. Experience in pastel, tally, SAP, oracle or similar accounting platforms with a sound understanding.
