International Facilities Services (IFS) is hiring a Human Resource Officer at its operations at Kansanshi mine in solwezi.This positions will report to the site/Project manager and the key purpose is to:
To be a trusted advisor to the site project manager.
To work and support site managers and teams through enhancing their capabilities to manage their people,implement change and build relations with key stakeholders (Internal and external).
To support the development,integration and implementation of corporate HR policies and practice.
The key responsibilities for this role will be:
To manage the recruitment,selection and appointment process for the site by ensuring that the right person for the job is appointed.
Manage new engagements and exit documentation and submit to head office.
compile and submit management and statutory reports relating to human resource management on the site.
Lead management in employee relations and conflict resolution.
Support the business with employee and industrial relations by having knowledge of country-specific legislative requirements,an understanding of impact on the organisation and developing a relationship with the department of labour,unions,regulatory bodies and the community.
Identify specific employment and development issues from workforce trends and staff feedback mechanisms.
Manage the succession planning on the site.
Oversee terminations and exits according to policy guidelines.
To be considered for this position,you must meet the below:
Grade 12 school certificate or equivalent
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Atleast 3-5 years working experience in the similar industry or mining environment.
Member of the zambia institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
