Accountant x2 Allterrain Services Limited

Brief Role Description: The Primary duty of the accountant is to support Project Accountant to ensure the project meets its budget targets in relation to revenue collection, cost control and profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of Level II ZICA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 2-4 years’ work experience in a similar role. Willing and capable of working in a remote site and able to travel between different work sites.

Creative, self-motivated, proactive, and confident and able to work under minimum supervision.

Experience managing a diverse team and strong willingness to build capacity of local staff.

Good Working Knowledge of Sage Accounting System

Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Trust worth and Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work responsibilities will be as per below but not limited to the listed:

Checking on sales invoices critically for accuracy and preparing accompanying VAT invoices sales

Updating Debtors balances as and when payment and new sales invoices are raised as well as making follow up on payment.

Taking part in stock take, fortnightly and monthly, doing spot checks, camp bank and petty cash, supplier management, posting invoices supplier invoices and supplier reconciliations.

Submission of monthly taxes and statutory returns, monthly projects profitability reporting
