Veterinary Sales African Agrovet

Veterinary Sales Personnel (Location -Head Office)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for sales of Veterinary products (Cattle, Poultry and Piggery) and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales forecast / budgeting for the year as per product demand
  • To know how -Demand creation, national disease in Livestock sector
  • Understand the Poultry, Piggery, cattle sector and prepare programs accordingly to serve direct and indirect clients
  • Initiate sales contacts, understand customer needs, and present applicable products and services.
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations, focusing on the benefit of early orders.
  • Farmers training program – Training materials
  • Increase customer base year over year.
  • Grow volume of sales with existing customers.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on assigned products and\or services.
  • Report on sales to plan and current pipeline.
  • Proactively share information and best practices across the vet team and other functions.
  • Reporting – Market info, competitors’ info, new product in the market
  • Product development / extension work
  • Product demonstrations with lead livestock farmers

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following.

  • Veterinary related experience /Animal Science Degree.
  • Proven ability to delivery exceptional customer service
  • Sales experience at least 3-4 years in reputed Vet company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Must possess a Driver’s License
  • Must possess a Police Clearance.

SALARY SCALE K7000 -K8000 PM
