Security Operations Coordinator Afrisec Group

Secama is looking for a Security Operations Coordinator for our Lusaka office. The Security Operations Coordinator will be responsible for operations from Lusaka Southbound up until the border of South Africa.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Conduct daily toolbox talks and training on the SOP for the security escort guards.

· Ensure the guards are reporting and perform their duties as per requirement.

· Ensure good discipline among all escort guards and initiating disciplinary action.

· Ensure planning of truck movements and timely dispatches.

· Ensure all trucks are coded for monitoring movements and maintain record of codes.

· Liaise with transporters and/or clients for information regarding convoy departures and any other concerns.

· Attend to incidents, ensure timely escalations, and do initial investigations.

· Undertake road inspections to monitor SOP compliance.

· Personnel planning and scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing.

· Preparing daily convoy finances and ensure that all security escort guards on trips are adequately supplied with allowances.

· Ensure that all tracking devises are working and reporting accurately.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

· Diploma in Logistics, Transport or Security related field.

· Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Possess a valid manual driving license for more than 5 years.

· Previous experience in a transport and logistics or security related field.

· Demonstrable experience in supervising and training of staff

· Proven experience in planning and organizing daily activities.

· Good communication skills

· Proactive and able to take initiative.

· Fluency in English, written and spoken.

· Able to function calmly amid a crisis.

· To have a flexible approach to working hours and additional tasks and duties.
