The National Museums Board is a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Tourism, established by an Act of Parliament Chapter 174 of 1966 of the Laws of Zambia. Therefore, the Board is now inviting suitably qualified Zambians to fill in the following vacant positions:
Station: Livingstone Museum, Livingstone
ACCOUNTANT
Reporting to the Director, the Accountant will be responsible for managing and monitoring the accounting activities in order to facilitate smooth operations of the museum.
MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 full certificate with 6 credits including English, or its equivalent
MINIMUM VOCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
ACCA/CIMA/ZICA or its equivalent
MINIMUM RELEVANT PRE-JOB EXPERIENCE
3 years in accounting work
MAJOR SKILLS
Managerial, Communication (oral and written), and computer literacy skills.
OTHER SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Courteous and tactful, and confidentiality.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Must be a member of ZICA/ACCA/CIMA or its equivalent
