SECURITY OFFICER – NOVATEK LUSAKA (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and success points, permitting entry.
- Obtains help by sounding alarms
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedure, restraining trespasses.
- Make rounds to check doors and other access points
- Monitor closed-circuit security feeds to identify potential threats.
- Deny entry to unauthorized people
- Provide entry to authorized people.
- Question and detain people who enter the premises without authorization.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Certificate in Relevant Field
The Required Attributes Include:
- Knowledge of community resources (safety, emergency, social services)
- Ability to work well with staff and public
- Ability to interact with a diverse population
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to act calmly and with composure in difficult situations
