Business Development Officer Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce

Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce is the largest Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVET) Institution under the Ministry of Technology and Science. The institution is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position:

4.0 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & CORPORATE AFFAIRS

Main Duties
• Undertake effectively the identification, development and introduction of new services areas in order to expand the college’s revenue base.
• Undertake effectively the management of college facilities and other non-academic income generating ventures in order to maximise profitability.
• Undertake effectively public private partnerships initiatives in order to enhance infrastructure developments and investment opportunities.
• Undertake effectively the development of project proposals in order to facilitate resource mobilisation from co-operating partners and other stakeholders.
• Undertake effectively the development, review and implementation of the college business plan in order to guide revenue generation.

Minimum Qualifications
• Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and/or Equivalent
• 2 years traceable experience

Attributes
• Must possess good communication, supervisory and negotiation skills High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Sound computer skills (Word processing, spreadsheets and internet) Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
