Activations Support Mobile MTN

· Provisions new customers on the CRM & Billing systems;

· Responds to customer queries and complaints and interface with technical teams where support is required;

· Ensures activation service changes i.e. SIM Swap, Upgrades, Downgrades and de-activations;

· Responsible for managing and updating of customer account information on the system – Business type, Business region, Account manager and billing address(es);

· Accountable for safe custody of Customer Contracts and documents requesting service changes;

· Updates and compiles of daily/weekly/monthly/Adhoc activations related reports;

· Tests new products in liaison with Revenue Assurance and Enterprise Products team;

· Generates monthly mobile related manual billing schedules for finance to invoice;

· Liaises with sales team for timely renewals of contracts stored on the documents management system;

· Manages allocation of Hybrid/Postpaid numbers to be used for E1/SIP services;

· Manages Bulk SMS service activation requests for the Yello SMS/Ngage platforms;

· Initiates all change requests requirements via a URS form for all activation related issues that require amendment to the activations/Billing system;

· Attends weekly projects or service integration tests meetings by IT demand team;

· Performs Adhoc and regular audit reviews of assigned services with Revenue Assurance team and Audit team to ensure accounting accuracy and regulatory compliance;

· Updates of reports for services statistics and revenue trending for management;

· Stays abreast of developments in areas of expertise and performs to the highest ethical and professional standards;

· Carries out any related duties that will enhance the mission of the job.

 

 

Candidate Requirements

· Diploma, preferably in a Business or IT field or related field;

  • Grade 12 Certificate (5 O’ Level credits, including compulsorily English Language and Mathematics);

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in area of specialization.

· Experience working in a medium to large organization Minimum of two (2) years in similar or equivalent position;

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite-Word, Excel, and Power Point;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Customer Value Management;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of all work-related issues and information.
