Role and Responsibilities
The Junior Corporate Associate is well-versed in legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices. They are professionals of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business.
The goal is to preserve our Client’s integrity by ensuring they stay on a lawful and ethical course.
You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business and providing guidance on compliance matters.
You will work under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Corporate and Compliance Associate to achieve your performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and implement an effective legal compliance program
- Monitor internal controls and monitor adherence to them
- Draft and revise company policies
- Collaborate with other business divisions as needed
- Address clients’ concerns or questions on legal compliance
- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
- Ensure Clients’ compliance with regulatory bodies
- Draft minutes of Board meetings
- Maintain records of compliance activities
- Communicate with government agencies
- Prepare and file compliance reports
- Conduct research as necessary
- Provide Support to the Senior Associates.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology
- Proficiency in English
- Outstanding time-management and typing skills
- Ability to multitask and be comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.
- 1– 3 years experience in a compliance/Corporate officer role.
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
