Lecturer – Faculty of Business and Humanities (1 Position)

Key Responsibility

This position is responsible for the planning, development and instruction of Business and Humanities courses for an academic program; including lecturing, assigning assignments, setting tests and examinations and supervising research work.

Specific Roles and Functions

i. Provide teaching and learning support to students

ii. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.

iii. Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate students.

iv. Prepare course materials such as course outlines, assignments, and handouts.

v. Provide technical support in the supervision of students’ final year research work.

vi. Evaluate and grade students’ assignments and examination papers.

Qualifications

i. Grade 12 School Certificate or Equivalent with minimum 5 Credits including English and Mathematics

ii. A Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration

iii. An earned Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized learning institution

Other Preferences

i. Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.

ii. Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving skills.

iii. A member of Bread of Life Church International added advantage.

iv. A good understanding of ITC applications

v. Must be a member of at least one reputable and influential professional association.
