Anda Solutions now seeks to recruit a Mechanic to join the budding company. The successful applicant will provide technical leadership in all Autoworks. This is a permanent position subject to a probationary period of 3 months.
Reporting Lines
The Mechanic will report directly to the Managing Director
Specific tasks and responsibilities
- Inspecting all vehicles at the beginning and end of the day to ensure they are in good condition
- Report all malfunction, potential malfunction, or body damage and propose solutions in a timely manner
- Repair all mechanical problems that may arise on any vehicle in the fleet
- Routinely service all vehicles appropriately
- Ensure company mobility
- Have the ability to drive long distances
- Adhere to all regulations
- He/She will carry out any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Commitment and passion for company growth above all else
- G12 Certificate
- Certificate in auto mechanics or related field
- Experience in repairing and servicing both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Ability to drive a manual transmission car is a must
- Trustworthy with traceable contacts and a fixed abode
- Available to start immediately
- Resident of Lusaka
- Computer proficient with the ability to work with word processing, data management, and spreadsheets (this will be tested during interviews)
- Must have high typing skills with the ability to navigate the internet quickly
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Fluent in at least one Zambian local language
- A resident of Lusaka
- Traceable Referees – all Referees will be contacted
- Valid Zambian National Registration Card
- Honesty in all dealings and must have no criminal record (Background checks will be done)
- Ability and willingness to abide by all Company policies
