About the Role:
As an Online High School Maths and Science Tutor at ZONO Academy, you will play a crucial role in helping high school students excel in mathematics and science subjects through virtual tutoring sessions. You will provide personalized online lessons, create educational resources, and inspire a love for learning in your students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct one-on-one or group online tutoring sessions in mathematics and science for high school students.
2. Develop and deliver engaging virtual lessons, explaining complex concepts in an understandable manner.
3. Assess students’ learning needs and tailor online tutoring sessions to their individual requirements.
4. Create interactive educational materials, including digital worksheets, practice problems, and quizzes.
5. Monitor student progress, track performance, and provide regular feedback through online communication tools.
6. Foster a positive and motivating online learning environment.
7. Stay updated on virtual teaching methods, curriculum changes, and educational best practices for online learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in online teaching or tutoring, especially for high school students.
- In-depth knowledge of the mathematics and science curriculum for high school.
- Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms and online communication tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for online interactions.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different virtual learning styles.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Creativity in developing engaging online educational materials.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
