Manager – Claims Hollard Insurance Zambia

Job Purpose

Efficient and Fair Adjustment of claims for all clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Prudent interpretation of policies/products that customers have bought
  • Adjustments of claims including cost negotiations with suppliers
  • Internal costing of the job by getting independent quotes from spare part dealers on motor claims
  • Issuance of repair orders or discharge forms
  • Pursuing Recoveries
  • Making sure the Claims Experience is seamless for customers
  • 5 Years minimum experience in claims management and administration.

Required Experience (relevant or in a similar role).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Any Field
  • Diploma in Insurance and Motor Technology is an Added Advantage
  • Grade twelve with Five O levels including English and Maths
  • On the Job training/ familiarization time
  • Appreciation of different parts of a motor vehicle
  • Reading financials/Purchases/ Sales and Stock Levels
  • Conflict Management
  • General understanding of the Laws of Zambia
