Accounts Assistant
The ideal candidate will help our Finance department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
- Managing expense reports and reimbursements.
- Issue invoices to customers as needed.
- Prepare bank deposits, Cheques and payments.
- Prepare weekly departmental reports.
- Reconciliation of debtors in accounting system.
- Create and file ZRA Returns.
- Maintain and file physical financial records.
- Participate in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Minimum ACCA /ZICA level two
- At least 2 years work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Familiarity with Acounting regulations.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel, spreadsheet programs and PowerPoint an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Pastel and Xero accounting software.
- Organization skills.
- Strong written and Verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Attention to detail.
