Accounts Assistant

The ideal candidate will help our Finance department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
  • Managing expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Issue invoices to customers as needed.
  • Prepare bank deposits, Cheques and payments.
  • Prepare weekly departmental reports.
  • Reconciliation of debtors in accounting system.
  • Create and file ZRA Returns.
  • Maintain and file physical financial records.
  • Participate in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Minimum ACCA /ZICA level two
  • At least 2 years work experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
  • Familiarity with Acounting regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel, spreadsheet programs and PowerPoint an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Pastel and Xero accounting software.
  • Organization skills.
  • Strong written and Verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Attention to detail.
