Position Overview: Lyco Capital Partners is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Finance Executive with expertise in trade finance to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a deep understanding of trade finance products, and a proven track record of success in acquisition sales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients within the trade finance sector through strategic prospecting, networking, and market analysis. Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to expand the client base and drive revenue growth.

2. Consultative Selling: Engage with prospective clients to understand their trade finance needs, objectives, and pain points. Offer tailored solutions and value propositions that address their specific requirements and demonstrate the benefits of partnering with Lyco Capital Partners.

3. Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations. Leverage your industry knowledge and expertise to establish credibility, gain trust, and position Lyco Capital Partners as a trusted advisor and partner.

4. Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate forecasting, and effective communication with internal stakeholders. Utilize CRM systems or other tools to track sales activities, opportunities, and results.

5. Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, addressing any objections or concerns and proactively overcoming obstacles to secure new business. Close sales agreements in alignment with company policies and revenue targets, maximizing profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in acquisition sales roles within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on trade finance.
  • Deep understanding of trade finance products, instruments, and market dynamics.
  • Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and close sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth.
