Job Title: Lecturer in Computer Sciences
Location: Lusaka Urban University – Plot No. 44 Off Kasupe Road, Ferngrove Lusaka West
Job Type: Full-time
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (required)
Master’s degree in a related program (required)
Teaching experience at the university level (Added advantage)
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Computer Studies.
Prepare course materials such as syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate and grade students’ coursework, assignments, and exams.
Supervise students’ research projects and dissertations.
Conduct research in the field of Computer Science and publish findings in academic journals.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other academic activities.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Computer Science principles and theories.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
