Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations maintenance.
- Analyse financial information and summarize financial status.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns and assist in handling tax refunds
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Prepare audit financial transactions and reports
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Facilitate compliance with Zambian financial policies and regulations
Requirement and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in financial management, accounting and other related majors
- Familiar with accounting processing, able to organize and solve problems in accounting
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Work with ambition and a high sense of responsibility towards work
