An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our team as the Country Director of our NGO organization. As the Country Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations in Zambia including program management, fundraising,

WHO ARE WE? advocacy, and staff management.

HOPE worldwide is an international charity that changes lives through the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community- based services to the materially poor and needy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives in Zambia;

– Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to carry out their roles effectively;

– Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, donors, and partner organizations;

– Oversee the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and values;

– Monitor and evaluate the impact of our work in Zambia and make recommendations for improvement; and

– Manage the organization’s budget and ensure that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

– A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role within the NGO sector;

– Relevant Degree;

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

– Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans;

– Experience in fundraising and donor relations; and

– Knowledge of the political, social, and economic context in Zambia.
