Job Description
The Teacher Librarian will play a pivotal role in supporting the school’s academic and co-curricular programs. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to education and a passion for libraries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the school library collection, ensuring it meets the needs of students, teachers, and staff.
- Provide information literacy instruction and support to students of all ages.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
- Organize library programs, events, and activities to promote reading and learning.
- Manage library operations, including circulation, cataloging, and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with educational trends and technologies in the field of librarianship.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent information literacy skills.
