Job Title: Manager Ethics, Risk & Compliance
The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:
- Implement policies, procedures, and guidelines set by the group’s Ethics, Risk, and Compliance team, ensuring team compliance.
- Oversee the OpCo Ethics, Risk, and Compliance strategy, budgets, and financials under the direction of the OpCo CEO.
- Cascade the Group Fintech budget, analytics, and reporting framework within the function as directed by the OpCo CEO.
- Deliver results under the guidance of the Group GM Risk & Compliance, ensuring regular compliance reporting.
- Implement and manage the Risk Management Framework in the OpCo to address all internal and external risk
exposures (political, economic, financial, etc.). - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Foster a risk-aware culture in the OpCo by providing ongoing education and raising awareness across the organization.
- Oversee the OpCo Ethics Management program, ensuring the company conducts business in an ethical and socially responsible manner.
- Manage AML/CTF and Compliance initiatives to ensure legal, regulatory, and licensing requirements are met, and proactively monitor and report any incidents.
- Address fraud risks, support the BankTech product segment with fraud prevention, and ensure business continuity through resilience testing and disaster recovery plans.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must
- 4-year degree in Business Administration / Finance or related field.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years relevant experience in a similar position with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- In depth experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit or a similar function, working with internal control tools
- Experience in Fintech, banking or financial services is preferred
