Quality Process Operator x 4 Zambian Breweries Plc Lusaka (ABInbev)

The key purpose of this role is to carry out all the required quality checks in his/ her designated area, meeting the prescribed frequency and outputs as per ABInBev quality and Process standards. Supports shift operations by ensuring front line problem solving for out of control processes, may operate machinery as required and executing maintenance tasks on laboratory utensils and instrument/machinery such as cleaning and basic maintenance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Safety

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others in his / her designated area
Responsible for Machine safe practices, PTW, LOTO and SAM

Quality

Accountable for all quality process checks to be done as per prescribed frquency
Responsible for quality packaged product within designated work area
Ensure Problem solving for all out of controll processes.
Required to escalate Out of control processes to Team Leader or Packaging Lab Manager
Execute Quality @ Source,BBT management and Acceptance.

Delivery

ATO
Verify compliance with daily routines as per Agenda of Routine
Execute Daily schedule : Production, changeovers, cleaning and lubrication, autonomous maintenance inspections and and Quality problem solving
Operate equipment according to SOP’s.
Owner of the performance of the assigned equipment, including input and output, Process indicators, uptime and Quality at source
Train on and check the execution of standards by the operation
Escalate Major issues to the Team Leader or Process Artisan
Ensure quality results are captured and loaded for each shift
Understand the Process Inputs and Outputs and Machine Process Flow/Sequence
Provide Input to AB Report

Problem Solving

Understand and apply QFR’s @ Reaction Plans
Be able to populate the 5Why template on the Problem Terminator and facilitate the process to root cause
Understand the process of evaluating a 5Why

People

Education and Experience:

Min: Grade 12

Technical qualifications (Elec, Mech, Laboratory Tech, Instrumental)

At least 1-3 years factory production experience.
Demonstrated experience in shift production
A superior performance track record indicating a disciplined work ethic with passion for problem solving and continuous improvement
SKAP (100% 1X2) 1 Basic & 1 Advanced Machine

Experience in Quality control systems
