Qualifications
Diploma in Journalism
At least 2 years experience in radio industry
Key responsibilities and duties include
- Head the newsroom and supervise all News reporters
- Conduct news room diaries
- Assign reporters to gather news stories from the field
- Edit news
- Decide the stories that are news worthy
- Be able to cast news bulletins
- Anchor live and recorded radio programmes
- Ensure that programming adhere to journalism ethics and editorial guidelines
