J&J Transport Zambia Limited is looking for suitably qualified individuals who will be able to oversee of day-to-day operational and logistical requirements for J&J Transport Zambia that encompasses daily co-ordination with clients, and be responsible to ensure efficient, profitable and professional logistical operations.  Individuals should be able to promote organizational excellence by managing exceptional service delivery and relationship building and improving turnaround times with a focus on in/outbound border crossings and timely offloading.

Reports to: Zambia Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Retaining and acquiring business through exceptional service delivery and relationship building with customers to ensure repeat of business;
  • Planning and executing logistical and operational day-to-day activities required for J&J Transport Zambia Ltd. to operate efficiently and effectively;
  • Effectively managing and liaising with stakeholders, both internal and external;
  • Minimize turnaround times by managing fleet movement without and outside of Zambia;


  • Academic Background: CILT Certification, Relevant Transport and Logistics qualifications and training;
  • Experience required (minimum/maximum): with 3-5 years, with relevant experience in a similar role within the transport industry;
  • IT knowledge: excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word; excel; power point);
  • Age (minimum / maximum): 28-40;
  • Others: English – good level of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Good knowledge of local organization;
  • Applicants must be Zambian or have a residence permit in Zambia;
  • Good understanding of the Business and Business needs;
  • Leadership Experience;

Preferences for immediately available candidates committed to working weekends and longer hours.
