CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICERS – VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To take responsibility for being the first point of contact for all day old chicks customers at respective sales points and ensure that a high quality of service is delivered at all times.
  • To ensure that all customers are dealt with promptly, in line with agreed standards and targets.
  • To have full knowledge and ability to provide technical back up services, including training services to help meet the individual needs of the customers.
  • To establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all line departments to ensure a ‘one team approach’ in the delivery of quality Customer Service.
  • To take ownership and responsibility for all enquiries presented at the sales point by customers, identify customer needs, and utilising appropriate questioning and listening skills to identify, document and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Carry out all administrative tasks relating to Customer Service and to undertake any such additional duties assigned by the authorities that are reasonably commensurate with the level of this post.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or  a tertiary qualification in Certificate in General Agriculture or Animal Science
  • At least one year or more experience in poultry technical management and sales
  • Required computer literacy levels
  • Sober habits and trust worthy.

  • Ability to work in pressured and deadline-driven operating environment
  • Ability to self-manage workload and work independently
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, management and all levels of associates
