ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a manager to drive the operational standards within the Debonairs brand in Choma with the responsibility and accountability to achieve employee leadership, customer satisfaction, profits and sales targets and operational efficiencies and excellence within the set policies and procedures.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the operations  of the Restaurant to meet business goals and projections.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Operations and produce agreed upon reports on the store’s operations
  • Empower the operational team with the leadership and resources they need to successfully complete operations initiatives, lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Positively represent the company at all times through a success-oriented and professional demeanor
  • Measure and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant success measurements
  • Implement effective processes and procedures to take Restaurant to the next level of operations
  • Set goals and objectives for performance and growth for Restaurant, with the Head of Operations
  • Oversee daily production and maintenance operations for Restaurant
  • Evaluate performance through analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Drive achievement of operational excellence through managing by addressing stock variances, Cost of Labour and controllable expenses in line with budget
  • Conduct monthly evaluations on the Stores to monitor profitability
  • Facilitate operational excellence by ensuring that staffing levels adheres to the business and store requirements
  • Maximise profit by ensuring effective implementation of marketing promotions and identifying and recommending sales growth opportunities
  • Monitor and analyse customer complaints in order to identify critical problem areas within store.
  • Oversee the consistent implementation of restaurant policies and procedures by direct reports to ensure compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Minimum 4 years’ restaurant management experience in the quick-service restaurant (QSR)/fast food industry
  • Solid understanding of financial principles
