In liaison with Senior Programs Manager and Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, assist to 10 develop and manage technical performance monitoring systems
Provide technical assistance to One top Centres (OSCs) in the process of developing Annual 10 Operation Plans (AOPs Provide technical assistance to all OSCs in project or program cycle process implementation 10 Support OSCs in setting up and implementing functional monitoring systems that will be used to plan 10 and monitor the progress on project supported activities
Train, advise, and develop capacity on M&E for program staff and partner organizations 10
Collaborate With projects consortium members, local primes and primes and partner M&E staff and 10 facilitate monthly M&E Technical Working Group (TVVG) meetings Collaborate with and coordinate consortium M&E and program staff on and conduct regular DQA for 20 all project sites (12 districts of Luapula Province), Design databases for input of monitoring data and carryout periodic data quality assessments & improvement routines to ensure a reliable data collection & management system Assist to coordinate the process of planning and conducting holistic appraisals/assessments which lead 10 to the development of integrated program and project strategies Assist the FTTR project team in reviewing report to ensure they are prepared using the right formats 10 and effectively communicate the project’s contribution to the reduction of SGBV
Other Competencies/Attributes:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Science, statistics, demography, evaluation, or information systems or its equivalent
At least 3 years’ experience in program design Monitoring and Evaluation.
Good level of proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis using statistical packages including EXCEL, SPSS and STATA.
Able to think logically and systematically and have good organizational skills Has had training in statistics and or experience in statistical analysis.
Bachelor degree in statistics, physical, biological or social sciences.
At least two years hands on experience in monitoring and evaluation of programs, preferably related to community based rural development work.
Extensive experience in development studies / rural development, reports and other documents.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office (word, Access, Excel.
Experience in using database and statistical software such as Epi Info, SPSS, etc.
- Excellent skill in report writing.
Experience in project proposal writing. Should be able to take initiatives to focus on quality outcomes and services to beneficiaries and customers within the region
Should always look for opportunities and initiatives to learn, improve, change and grow in the area of M&E for the benefit of programs in the region
Working Environment I Conditions:
Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel to the field
Travel: 30% Domestic/international travel is required.
Position requires willingness and ability to continue to function during a crisis, including during a World Vision response to a manmade or natural disaster.
