InvestEcon Group PTY is a financial and investment advisory firm operating in Sub-Saharan African Countries and Mauritius. The company also offers brokerage and trading services for financial securities and currencies through registered intermediary trading platforms as well as commodity trading.
InvestEcon now seeks to recruit a Manager Investment, Treasury and Equity to join its exciting winning team.
Responsibilities;
1. Corporate Function
• Preparation of investment and treasury strategic plans for approval
• Annual budgeting and employee resource allocation
• Review and approval of divisional workplans
• Strategic oversight of group subsidiary performance
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring of transformation strategies
• Case-based comprehensive due diligence activities involving commercial technical, legal, financial, and accounting
• Provide input in drafting of primary internal and group policy guidelines
• Provide direct input on investment and treasury annual, and medium-term targets;
2. Investment and Treasury Function
• Sourcing and screening of mergers and acquisition and project investment opportunities
• Lead and manage detailed due diligence processes involving, commercial, financial, technical and legal
• Develop complex and advanced valuation and asset optimization financial models
• Co-management of investment capital budgeting and capital raising process
• Drafting and presentation of investment concept papers to investment committee for approval; and
• Execution of approved mergers and acquisitions and projects through the implementation of share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, joint development agreement, securities agreements, etc.
3. Project Development Function
• Directly manage project development activities from notice to proceed to commissioning
• Co-management of procurement processes involving the scoping of terms of references and engagement of contractors
• Provide input in drafting and implementation of key contracts and agreements involving with contractors and shareholders
• Chair project development committee meetings and present progress in senior management meetings
• Directly plan and implement the operationalization of new projects. Includes workforce planning, recruitment, drafting and implementation of SOPs and guidelines etc.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
• Education: Masters Level or Equivalent Professional Course
• Specialization: Finance, Investments, Accounts
• Prof. Course: CFA, MBA, CA, CFP is added advantage
• Experience: Not less than five (05) years in senior officer position
• Track record: Advanced Financial Modelling
• Exposure: International exposure is added advantage
